4 TM miles in 35:50. Easy but encouraging progression run. Started at 10:00 minute pace gradually increasing to 8:00 minute pace. L. hamstring still doing okay, r. calf tightened up at about 3.5, but not all that bad. Time to test it out in the cold as soon as these streets thaw out a bit. So glad I didn't sign up for the Cold Turkey 6K Rrrrun in City Creek Canyon this year.

5 miles on the TM. 10:00 a.m. Should have hit the streets, but most are still very icy out here. It was also about 10 degrees, so quite easy to wimp out. Progression run starting out at 10:00 min. pace gradually increasing and holding at 7:42 pace for final mile on 1.5% grade. Felt decent. Left hamstring a tad tender afterwards, some slight stiffness in the the right calf, but not bad. Back sore from shoveling snow, but running seems to help that. Happy Thanksgiving to all the bloggers.

5 miles on my standard Skyline Avenue route to gate and back via Loma Vista and Upland loops. Icy roads in spots, snow pack on the last .4 up to the gate and back. Untimed. Cold but sunny day. Untimed noon run. Calf okay, a hint of a problem with the left hamstring after 2 or 3, otherwise okay. Running with Tina tomorrow for the first time in weeks. I hope she doesn't kill me.

4 miles. Aborted 8 miler with Tina. More hamstring problems running downhill after 2 miles. Walked a bit, then ran slowly back home at about 10:00 min. pace. Feel like I'm back to where I was just before the marathon. This thing just does not want to get better.
