St. George Marathon. A good run for me. Great temperature with a slight tail wind for first half. Ran carefully with slight left knee (ITB) and right hip issues. Taking shot blox every 3 miles took me strong through the finish and not hitting the wall, which seldom happens to me.

Barely there, but I'll take it. They were advertising the Phoenix Marathon big time up here, at the Expo and at the overpass at mile 18. Who wants to be thinking about another marathon at mile18???

Congrats!!! :)

Very nicely done. That nice little tailwind in the beginning was heavenly!!!!

How did you carry all the blox?

The funny thing about the Phoenix Marathon is that it never goes into Phoenix. At least I'm pretty sure it doesn't. Mostly in Mesa. I might do it.

I just carried the shot box in sandwich size ziplock baggies. Made sure I ran in shorts with 2 pockets. Worked pretty well.

Yeah for NOT hitting the wall and running tough with ITband issues.
