Married for 44 years to a wonderful and supportive wife. She's run 2 marathons herself in our earlier years so that helps.  4 boys, all married, and 10 grandchildren.  2 sons are runners. I celebrated 39 years of running madness, insanity, or at least OCD, on August 23rd, 2021.

7 mile run including standard 6 mile Droubay and Smelter Loop, plus a bit more on Skyline Drive along the cemetery.  Fairly easy.  60:48 or 8:31 overall pace.  Splits:  8:36, 9:02, 7:49, 8:16, 8:30, 8:59, 8:27.  9:00 a.m. run.  Day off from work.  Felt decent except right heel a bit sore last mile or so, near the achilles.  I'll ice it up tonight.  Easy 5 milers Tuesay thru Thursday this week prior to the St. George 1/2 marathon (Painter's) on Saturday.  I hope the weather turns out to be okay.

Are you on a Wasatch Back team this year?

From artichoke on Mon, Jan 18, 2010 at 17:48:37 from 71.37.112.45

Yes. I missed this last year due to an injury. I'm running with a different team this year called "Green Eggs and Sam". In 2007 and 2008 I ran on a team called "Victorious Secret". I love that event! An entirely different venue for running, but I have really enjoyed it. You?

I may join one. I'll have to see if I can afford the trip up. Ragnar is my favorite race for sure.
