What a day! Gorgeous out. Beautiful. Will picked me up and we drove a loooong way to Olney, MD, and did a great, tough, hilly 1-hour ride, mostly in a farm-like setting/residential area. It's funny how you are so exhausted when you're going uphill on a bike (or running) and you think "man, we should've picked a flatter route", but then you get to the top, or finish your ride, and it feels so good! In the afternoon I ran on the trails of Rock Creek Park for a bit less than 1 hour. Nice and shady. Lots of people out. |
