After too many days of forced rest (left knee from the bike fall still bruised and right tendon still swallen, STILL SWALLEN! and wound on left knee still open) today my class was canceled and instead of studying like I should have done, I went to the swimming pool and my friend Lindsay, who is a stud swimmer, gave me a lesson with some great pointers on how to swim better. It is so hard! But I really think she helped me out a lot! Friends rock!

So, since the tendon hurts when I run, walk, go down stairs, and bike, I'll be doing the swimming pool for the next week or so. Then I'll start with the bike again for 5 more days, and then try running... Let's hope for the best. Work and school are keeping me busy, so maybe it's a good thing that I can't exercise.

Happy running my friends!

Darn Lucia, when will you get better?

Please take care. I hope you are icing like crazy that tendon.

Swimming sounds like a good idea right now... you really need to give yourself time to heal :)

Just keep on swimming. A swimming pool is a safe place to work out right?? Just make sure you walk and don't run around that pool.:)

Should I make a comment about swimming in a pool with an open festering wound? No, I'll keep that one to myself. Oops.

Rocket, to speedy recovery - Kool your jets for a few days - the knees, well, runners have great legs and also some great scars.

Stay Kool, B of BS Rools out
