A beautiful beautiful beautiful beautful day in DC.

Biked to work, then biked to the gym, then tried to run on the dreadmill but my stupid stupid stupid stupid shins felt super tight and sore, so I moved on to the elliptical machine and did some hard-core intervals for 30 minutes, then some weights, and biked home, having to go alll around the White House cause all the streets around were fenced in, preparing for innauguration.

I have also found out lately that doing some really really good stretching on your calf's helps the shins out. Something to think about!

I swear I stretch everything at every chance I get, Barry, and the shins still hurt! I'm about ready to give up on running and becoming a biker... ughhh... Thanks for the encouragement!

Thanks Camille! That picture is from a race I did two weeks after my bicycle accident and jaw surgery, and I had my mouth wired shut and hit a PR nonetheless, so it's very meaningful to me.

Oh my goodness Lucia! You are my hero!

I have to tell you that the pre and post workout works. But you have to do both for it to work right. I promise you that if you do the workout that your shin splints will go away. I challenge you to prove me wrong!!!!!!
