Personal: I was a single mom. Two times over. We all survived, despite the fact that I make atrocious decisions. Then, I met a man I didn't deserve. And he loves me so much. And I love him. We lived in sin and bought a house for two years then hired a judge and officially got married(to our great delight and also the delight of our mothers), then a month later he was diagnosed with cancer. Well we survived all that and he's 100% fine now. But, we're really out of shape and really busy with kids and jobs and running just isn't my priority and there's so many other layers to all of it, but I'm running anyway. This is my failure blog now. Just to log that one run a week if I snag it.
Somehow that matters and I want that run recorded. Favorite Blogs: |

| | What a great morning! I even beat all the kids out of bed and had a little alone time with coffee! I like Sundays like this. Anyways I'll enjoy my day, because amother hell week starts tomorrow--I have all my work days plus two days of clinicals. Yuck.

| | 8.32 in 1:08:52--8:16 pace. It was early and a little foggy, but about 50 degrees and very pleasant outside. Came home and did 2 circuits of strength drills before eating my usual massive 900 calorie breakfast(2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, coffee, 3 pieces french toast with butter and sugar-free syrup). I find that I am not usually terribly hungry the rest of the day if I eat a good breakfast. Off to work this afternoon and tomorrow I have the second session of PHTLS at 8:30 tomorrow so I will have to get up early and run loops and then work until midnight or one after PHTLS. Yuck yuck yuck. I'll be able to sleep in and hang out with the kids Wednesday morning though--they are on spring break! |

| | 8.15 in 1:06:29/8:09 pace. Started out very slow and shuffling--enjoying the 55 degree balmy weather and the sun. I felt pretty slow but must have picked up speed as I warmed up. Came home, stretched a little, and now I'm going to read books to my daughter. I'm still really tired from yesterday. I wish I didn't have to go to work this afternoon. |

| | Drove to the track, ran 8 laps, and then ran through town up to rosewood, turned around ran back. ran 800, then 800 comfortably hard at 3:19, recovered 800, then 400 not-so-comfortably hard in 89.5, second, then another 400, then stretched and drove home--stopped at the grocery store on the way. Now I am getting ready to eat my usual monstrous breakfast. |

| | 8.47 in 1:11:18/8:25 pace. Started out really slow and tired--could barely get one foot in front of the other. Felt better later in the run. Did two circuits of strength drills and a little stretching afterward. I will be up at 4am tomorrow to squeeze in a run before a long day at Galichia Heart Hospital for clinicals. |
