Personal:

I was a single mom.  Two times over.  We all survived, despite the fact that I make atrocious decisions.  Then, I met a man I didn't deserve.  And he loves me so much.  And I love him. We lived in sin and bought a house for two years then hired a judge and officially got married(to our great delight and also the delight of our mothers), then a month later he was diagnosed with cancer.  Well we survived all that and he's 100% fine now.  But, we're really out of shape and really busy with kids and jobs and running just isn't my priority and there's so many other layers to all of it, but I'm running anyway.  This is my failure blog now.  Just to log that one run a week if I snag it.
Somehow that matters and I want that run recorded.

7:50 AP treadmill.  I was supposed to run this morning at dark thirty.  I had a vivid nightmare about coyotes attacking me during my run and starting to rip me apart and kill me on the dirt road by my house and woke up in a cold sweat with my heart pounding to my morning alarm--to go run on the dirt road by my house.  So, I didn't; all because of a bad dream.  I am being silly I know but it was a pretty awful dream.  Anyways I ran on the treadmill this evening while David did his military workout video.  Tribal hill workout tomorrow!

I hate it when bad dreams spoil your plans. Who wants to run at "dark thirty" anyway? That just SOUNDS like a creepy time. If not coyotes, surely the vampires would have been out. Good call playing it safe.

I shouldn't have mentioned the cougar in my run last week. Seems like we both have vivid imaginations!!

Good call. I think coyotes actually use your dreams to scout your weaknesses and then exploit them in real life, so you did the right thing. That's what the chupacabras do here.

Joe--a few years ago our family was driving south of San Antonio on the highway when we saw an odd-looking canine-like creature. Both me and my husband where wondering what it was and tried to get a picture but it didn't turn out. It acted like a shy wild animal and was not like any domestic dog I have ever seen-at first I thought maybe it was a coyote. We later learned from my Uncle about the chupacabra and to this day wonder if that is what we saw! :)

Weird dream! Even weirder that it interrupted your early morning schedule! But good that you still got it in anyway!

Sounds like a sighting to me!
