well this was a pleasant run.  I only timed .8-1.8 miles and 3.2-4.2... on the way out I ran a 6:19, then the made a conscious effort to slow down and on the way back that mile was 6:42.  I guess I am feeling rested?  Chest a little tight.  I still have 3 days until Mday so I'll befine.  I'm missing my babies though!  I can't wait to see them.

Annie- Good luck in Chicago. I am excited to see how fast you can go. Your workouts are inspiring.

Thanks Craig!

Michelle nice marathon at SG.

Thanks, but I hope the elements are kinder to you. I want to get vicarious redemption through your race, so NO PRESSURE :)

Haha... I'd love to have rain! We are all so different. Looks like it's to be fairly warm mid 60's for the race. Heat is not my friend. I'd rather have the same conditions as my simulator, or your race, than moderate heat! But, "you can't always get what you want" if we did this sport would be boring! (and at least it's not going to be like last year 88 degrees) I will do my best to bring you some vicarious redemption, reguardless!

How did the marathon go?

From Craig on Wed, Oct 15, 2008 at 11:01:19

Looks like you hit the first half on pace at 1:25, but I'm hoping an injury didn't sideline you. Fill us in when you get a chance.

hey guys sorry. long story short... humidity, heat and I do not get along at all, being asthmatic. I probably should've bowed out when Friday's forcast said that it would be 68 degrees with 80% humidity at the start, but I really really wanted "my" day to be 10/12. It wasn't... I'll give details in the log for that day...
