The boys and I went to the doctor for my cold... I have a URI and got antibotics... that's when the fun starts. I was also asked to do a routine set of blood work, including a diabetes screening (fasting blood draw). Long story short I had a full blown seizure after a failed first attempt to draw blood. Both boys were present which upsets me most. I was fine as soon as I drank some pop, but cooper and will might remember that one for a while. Cooper kept retelling the events to me..."you're eyes were open but you were sleeping, and your arms and face, and legs kept moving a lot. The nurse jumped up and started yelling. It was really scary Mom." I felt like crap everytime he'd tell me about it. I only remember coming to out of breath, and feeling out of control. There were people in my face. I couldn't catch my breath and the boys faces. I know this will probably never ever happen again... and I'm glad.

Needless to say I'm a serious hypoglycemic, which explains why I have had seemingly random pass outs in the past. From what I've read ypically your blood sugar levels have to dip below 40 to get that type of reaction. and the tingly face thing, and feeling cold aren't normal...hahahaha! I'm a freakin' dingbat. I think it's time to see a nutritionist.
