8 at my parents in Indiana 5;30 am....some minor aches and pains... felt pretty good. Wish Bix were this weekend. My dad rode the bike, afterwards we sat around and drank coffee. It was pretty nice to start my day. Oh yeah and I almost forgot! I saw a possum, mind you it was very dark, and I didn't know what it was. It came right up to my foot as I planted, so naturally I screamed! This wobbly shadow coming at me in the dark and everything.... My dad nearly wrecked his bike as he panted, "what's wrong, what's wrong"... When I told him it was a possum he grunted "oh". In my terror I had forgotten the females in my family weren't allowed to be girls! HaHa... and all this time I blamed my manmom, It was really my dad's intolerance of screaming and crying and general girliness.
5 (6:22 pace) In Gurnee after we got home from my parents...I got home from my parents at 5:15, casey made dinner, I ate a lot, then the boys and casey played video games while I went out for a hill/steady state run. I felt o-k...I think running on a full stomach is a bad idea. and I need to drink more, but 4 hours on trains and 1 hour in cars limits ones access to water (unless they plan on carrying A LOT OF WATER...
