One of the things lacking from my training is hill running.  I've been hesitant to really hit the hills because of my nagging pains.  Now that most things are feeling better I've decided to add the weekly hill run back into the mix.  I ran up to the entrance to Mueller Park canyon and back home.  Going up wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but coming down was a lot worse.  It took awhile to get used to running downhill and it felt really sloppy.  I had to stop a few times to rub my foot out because the tailor's bunion was really bothering me today.  On the bright side, I am loving the Zensah socks.  I highly recommend these to anybody who has lower leg issues.

Is the Zensah sock a kind of compression sock or something? What are you using them for. Do you use them on both legs? Are they really cute? Do they come in fun fashions? Sorry, I was having fun with the question marks. Too bad you don't live closer and you could join me, Coach Tom and John A on some good hill workouts!

The Zensah are lower leg compression sleeves. They aren't actually socks because they don't cover the feet. My lower legs have always been problematic and these seem to help. I figured that since Kyle Korver wears them (or something like them) and all the girls go crazy for him they must be cute. http://www.zensah.com/

Andy which sleeves are you using the recovery ones or the shin splint/calf ones? You will have to keep us posted on your experience with these things as time goes on.

I bought the recovery sleeves. I didn't realize there were 2 different products until you asked.
