It was so warm that I was able to run in shorts this morning.  I sure hope this weather holds up.  It seems like it is so much easier to run in shorts than running pants.  First 3 miles at 7:50 then the last 5 between 7:15 and 7:30.  Pace felt very comfortable (other than my hamstring which doesn't want to heal).

Great start to the week. Looks like you got an early start.

I am glad your runs are getting better. I am sure that your hamstring will heal soon, I hope anyway. Have you decided on any races yet or is 2009 going to be race free?

From Andy on Mon, Feb 23, 2009 at 14:02:00

Still no decision on any races. I may go to the Lake to Lake with Jim but that's just for fun so it doesn't count as a race. I just don't feel like I am in good enough shape to race well right now.

Hey Andy, are you planning on running St. George this year?

From Andy on Mon, Feb 23, 2009 at 15:38:36

Dale - I don't think that I will run St. George this year. Although, I am starting to miss training a little so that could change.

From rhett on Mon, Feb 23, 2009 at 18:28:18

I'm impressed that you have been able to keep up running so many miles even without a race planned. Having a race comming up always help motivate me to run more.

Andy, nice start to the week. I was surprised how warm it was too. I'm thinking along the same line as Rhett. I guess it's good to take a break from training too. It looks to be like you're ready to get back into training mode again.

Hope that hammy comes around soon. I have one that doesn't want to heal too, real pain in the butt....or back of the leg.
