I made a feeble attempt at a tempo run today.  After a 3 mile warm up I started into tempo pace.  First mile was 6:37 and second mile was 6:31.  At this point I was feeling light headed and didn't have a lot of energy so I bagged the tempo run half way into the third mile and just ran the rest of the run at a more comfortable pace.  The weather was nice so even though the run was bad it was good to be outside.

2.5 miles at tempo pace is better than none at all. I agree, it was a very nice morning for a run.

So how is the tooth? Do they have you on any good drugs?

No pain meds for me. I even turned down the novacaine (of course I'm kidding). It's only a little sore now and once I work the penicillin out of my system I should be back to normal.

Ah that would make sense as to feeling light headed. Hope you recover from your tooth soon. Just makes everything better when your feeling good.
