2.25 warm up miles then 6 X 1/2 mile at 5K pace with 1/4 mile rest. Splits were: 3:07, 3:05, 3:00, 3:00, 2:59, 3:00. The first couple felt a little out of control. Started to settle down towards the end. Cooled down with 2.50 easy miles. Achilles felt better but knee was a little sore.

Andy, your workouts are looking good. I read an article, Yasso 800s, try and work up to 12 x 1/2 by marathon time? I also read an article by Galloway, 12 x 1 miles at 6 min mile pace if you expect to break three hours. Anway, the workouts are tought, good work.
