Wednesdays have become my "get out the door late and cut the run short" days.  A couple of miles into the run I remembered that I had to take my son to school early so I couldn't get in my usual 8.  I think that my body is slowly adjusting to the colder temps.  I never really warmed up during the run but nothing really froze.

Well, there you go, Mr. Consistent! What if your son's early to school day changes to Thursday? May be you could run 10 tomorrow to make it up, or not, what do I know??? :D

See, I was trying to mix things up a bit but now that you point it out it is consistent with what I have been doing lately. I guess that it is a hard habit to break. December is my month to be a slacker so I don't have to make up the mileage. I should hit my yearly mileage goal sometime next week otherwise I would try to make the mileage up somewhere.

Oh I want to know! What is your yearly milage goal?

From Andy on Wed, Dec 17, 2008 at 15:32:33

I originally planned on making 2008 a cutback year and was only going to run 2,000 miles. That lasted about 1 week and I then decided that 3,000 was a better number. It wasn't really a goal but something that I thought I should hit based on other goals that I had set.

Nice work Mr. 3000 (that's pretty reckless in itself -- and by no means boring)!!
