I left my contacts in too long so my eyes are killing me.  It is very difficult to focus which made running interesting.  I ran 5 miles then stopped at home and got the dog that I am dog sitting for another 3 miles.

How is it running with a dog? I see a lot of people doing it. Bummer about your eyes. My eyes were burning this morning, but that was only from lack of sleep. Way to go.

I have tried running with my dog but he out weights me by 20lbs. So needless to say, I go where he wants to go. I don't get much running. It's more like....run...sniff...run....pee....run...sniff...run...you get the picture.

I couldn't run with the dog on a regular basis. If I did I would have to get a belt to hook the leash to because holding the leash in my hand throws off my arm swing. It is a very small dog so I don't have much trouble pulling it a long. It isn't leash trained very well so I do have to do some tugging.

Kimmy - Are you referring to the dog or yourself when you say you run...pee...run...sniff?

From Burt on Thu, Nov 13, 2008 at 19:48:18

Haha! I've only taken my dog once, but she enjoyed it. At least you could use yours as a seeing-eye dog if you have more problems with your contacts.

FUNNY!!! (not the running part, the comment to Kimmie)

Nice run though Andy!

Come to think of it I have done the run....pee.....run before.....I don't think I will try the sniffing (I will leave that to the dogs).
