Drove to the LPT just in case the group showed up.  It was snowing a little so didn't think Kam or Tara would be there but went anyway.  Waited a few minutes then started my run.  It actually wasn't bad once I started going.  The snow had stopped and the trail was only lightly covered in snow.  My motivation was low so I had a hard time getting into the run.  Ran the first 5 miles in the 7:40's then picked it up to 7:30 and 7:15 for the next 2 miles.  Decided to get at least one tempo mile in so ran the last mile in 6:45.  I picked the wrong mile to run quicker because the trail had gotten very slippery and it was hard to maintain my footing.  I am not looking forward to winter training.

Snow already! Yikes. This is definitely the time of year to be a desert rat. Glad you didn't wipe out on the slippery trail.

Good job! You pushed it harder than I would have:) Sorry I sent my text late, wasn't sure you were going to get it. Honestly, I 'm not going to be able to do much tomorrow either. Let's just scrap it, and I'll, meet you for the upcoming Tempo Tuesday.

I was also planning on going to Fire House this morning, but had a last minute change of plans. I figured it would be more gentle on my sore legs but I can now see that either option would have left my legs sore! I'm scared to go to FireHouse without you or Becky there..

My phone was dead and I didn't have a charger which is why I didn't get your text. I was pretty sure you were not going to be there but I needed to pretend that I was expected to be there otherwise I wouldn't have run.

Sorry, guys. Baby Gabey is giving me lots of excuses to stay inside on snowy mornings. I will be there next week!
