Felt really good this morning.  I had the normal aches and pains but I finally had a little energy in my legs.

I have figured out that one of my biggest obstacles that I have to overcome is envy.  I sometimes get jealous when I see runners who were once at my level doing very well.  I have to be better about focusing on me and not worrying about those things (this is an issue that goes beyond running as well).  I know that I work hard and given the constraints that I operate under, I put in as much running as possible.

Finished the month with 274 miles which is exactly my average monthly rate this year.

That is a awesome month if you ask me and with all the racing too. Those relays race can really take there tolls on you with the lack of sleep you get. And to think this last one you ran it as a ultra. My hat is off to you man. Recovery from it and I hope to see you kick some butt this next weekend at the Corp Games.

Do you know anything about the corp games course? I think that it is an all grass course (which I hate).

Yeah sounds like a grass course with some small hills. So plan on 15 sec slower then on the road is what I was told to expect. I have yet to go check it out and maybe I will tomorrow or the next day. I guess it is at the Cottonwood Complex. Is that where it was last time you did it??

It was at Wheeler Farm when I ran it. How fast are you planning on running? Maybe we should run together.

My best 5k is only 20:22 and at DesNews it was under 20 for the first 5k. But on this grassy course hard to say man. I would like to beat my 20:22 if all possible.
