Marginally better than the past few days.  7:45 pace felt like 7:00 so my body is still out of wack.  If I don't recover completey in the next couple of days, do I still race on Saturday?

If you are paid up for it, I'd at least go and soak in the race experience. If you don't feel good, maybe run with a slower friend.

I think you will do better than expected. The course is worth the experience. Hope to see you there! Sending positive vibes your way!

I'm glad you are feeling better, Andy. Ragnar sent us our 2nd place awards: green annodized batons. They are kind of cool, in a lame, running sort of way. I hadn't held a running baton since jr. high.

i am glad you are feeling better. i think if you feel up to it, you should race. the course seems gentle enough and you could just cruise through it at a comfortable pace and enjoy the experience. but don't push it if your body is resisting. i'm rather worried about running it on my bum leg -- maybe we should hang out at the back of the race...

Kam - I was not aware that we took 2nd place. Was everybody else disqualified?

Allie - I'm almost convinced that my issue is 100% psychological. The most frustrating thing for me is that I think the course is lightening fast and I may not be able to take advantage of it. Hope your leg gets better quickly.
