Warmed up with 3 easy miles then ran 4 miles at tempo pace. I've done very little speed work this year so I thought that I would throw one session in before the marathon. I felt very good during the tempo portion and was as consistent as I have ever been (6:23, 6:21, 6:22, 6:21). My hamstring did start to ache towards the end but nothing too serious. It was good to have a good run after so many lousy runs. |
