Slow recovery run.  Mind is not in the right place so it was kind of a blah run.  I'm going to try to break in a new pair of shoes for the marathon.  I probably should have started doing this 2 weeks ago.  Hope I can get them ready in time.

If you run in them everyday, you'll have put 52 miles on 'em before the marathon. You're ready!

When's the race- next Saturday?

From JD on Thu, May 06, 2010 at 13:15:59 from 70.96.78.157

I hope the weather cooperates next Saturday.

I guess 52 miles should be enough.

Tim - The race is a week from Saturday.

JD - 10 day forecasts are worthless but right now it is looking good.

You are looking good to me, Andy. I think your shoes will be broken in, as long as you don't notice anything leading up to the marathon.

I like my shoe to have only 20 miles on them before a race, but I am weird.

From Rhett on Thu, May 06, 2010 at 17:25:17 from 74.41.249.102

I'm with Kathie. About 20 to 30 miles on a new pair of shoes before a big race is perfect.

From Andy on Thu, May 06, 2010 at 18:43:41 from 198.60.114.178

With my sloppy, clunky form I need a few extra miles on shoes for them to get used to my running style.
