Have you ever done something that you knew was a bad idea while you were doing it but you continued anyway?  Now that it is over I am fine but the run itself was pretty painful.  My achilles was really driving me nuts.  I had stretches were it felt fine and other stretches were it killed me.  I am getting more accustomed to running with the discomfort so I think that it is something that I can continue to run through.

Have you tried heel lifts? It would put a little less strain on your achilies. Be careful. You don't want this to become a chronic thing. You could always take a few weeks and join Paul pool running.

The strange thing is that the extra lift in the heel causes more pain. When I wear my racing flats, there is very little pain but my high heel trainers cause discomfort immediately. The next 2 weeks of training are relatively easy weeks so I am going to see if I can ride it out.

Wishing you the best of luck with that. My problem is it is so hard to describe the tendinitis I have as it seemed to sort of vary in location.

Be careful Andy!

Hmmm, reminds me of someone I know. Don't ignore pain, Andy!

I like your new pic. :)

Yes it is like somebody else except I am not a cross training maniac like the other person so I have to keep running to maintain my fitness.
