What a great day for a run.  Weather was absolutely perfect.  I felt a little clunky during the first half of the run but loosened up and felt really good during the second half.  The last 3 miles were at sub 7:00 pace and felt really comfortable.  Stopped by my dad's grave during the run.  I felt kind of bad because I forgot that yesterday was the 33 year anniversary of his plane crash.

Total Time: 1:08:50 (7:24/mile)

The weather is great today isn't it? Sounds like a great run.

Wow I'm sure that was tough to lose your father so suddenly and at such a young age so many years ago. Lately with my father passing and my mother passing 15 yrs ago I sometimes feel a bit robbed as the youngest in my family that I got the shortest amount of time with my parents compared to my older siblings. You've given me some perspective and helped me appreciate even more how lucky I was to have the quality years I had.

Tom -

There never really is a good time to lose a loved one. It sounds like your dad was a great guy and was a good example of how to live your life. You mentioning him in your blog was what prompted me to go to the cemetery so I thank you for that.
