My legs felt tired and heavy during the run which made my feet too slappy.  I thought my weight would come down a little once the mileage started to increase but I have put on a couple of pounds.  There are a few things I should be doing differently with regards to the way I eat.  I just need to find the will power to do something about it.

man - I'm in the same boat with the weight. You are hitting the miles for sure. It is just a matter of time.

I looked back to last year at this time and I'm at the same weight as then. I guess this is just a time of year to hold a few more lbs. Maybe when I throw the speedwork back into the mix, it'll kick start things. I hope so.

keep up the good work!

I seem to carry an extra 5 lbs. during the winter. I call it my hibernating weight.

wow - same for me. as long as we keep taking it off in the spring and summer :)

Nice run Andy, I thought you were going to keep some weight on for the "ladies!"

From Andy on Tue, Feb 09, 2010 at 16:39:14 from 159.212.71.200

That hasn't panned out. I just have a little extra in the gut that needs to go.

That's what the ladies call: "love handles"! :)

I am thinking the same thing. I'm still holding onto the "hibernating weights" even with the mileage increase and NO sugar/treats challenge. I'll bet once we start doing speedwork and Spring arrival, we'll shed that "little extra".
