Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

AM - Met a group at Highland High this morning. Started off the first few miles with Emily Bates, Chad R, Jake, and MarkP. Then decided to take it easy, be safe and jogged back to RAD, Toby, and Paul (Prlman) to run with them. Glad I did because I wanted to meet and talk to them anyways :o). Ran several miles up the canyon then saw MarkP running down the canyon and joined him for the downhill fun. I didn't have a Garmin today, but I'm estimating that 12.8 is about right.

I was really pleased with how my feet held up today. Definitely the best run over 7 miles that I have done in the past two months.  Back didn't feel too bad either. Now headed to Midway for some rest and relaxation (and maybe some snow tubing too!). If anyone is in the Midway area and wants to meet up for dinner or hot tubbing, let me know!

That's great that your feet held up well for almost 13 miles! You'll be back to full strength before you know it! Have fun tubbing and tubing!

Great run today. FYI-coming down the canyon we were mostly sub-sevens while chatting away.

you are so wise with your running. Like a very minature Buddha with incredible turnover. Solid run today, it's all gonna come together. I think also you need a cover photo on runnersworld, or rather, they need you.

It was great to meet you today! I enjoyed our run and hope someday I can run and talk at the same time (that takes major talent!!)! Glad the foot felt better!

It was great to see you out running today Andrea. I am glad to hear that your body is starting to think about behaving.

From RAD on Sat, Mar 03, 2012 at 23:56:27 from 98.202.23.178

Thanks for hanging out on the sag wagon today! It was great getting to chat with you and hang out on those crazy hills. I never regret them when I'm done and try not to complain while I'm running them, but it sure was nice to turn around!! :) Glad you felt good today - it's been a long journey.

Oh, and I wish I would've found my way to Midway and that hot tub tonight! :)
