Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

Nothing yet...not hard core enough to wake up at 3:45am to get a run in before flight back to SLC.

PM - Ran 1.6 around the block and feet were hurting so stopped and went to the gym. Joined in on the last 35 minutes of spin class.

My hometown in Knoxville, TN got named "most romantic city". Sounds like some guys in the SLC area need to up their game...or at least watch more romantic comedies!!

Thanks for making me feel like a putz on Valentine's Day!

I will watch some romcoms with Jing and if she plays her cards right, maybe she'll be the recipient of a foot rub.

2/3 of the cities on the list are in the South. Must be that whole chivalry and honor thing that southern men are into.

Can't say it's been easy to deal with a Yankee the past couple of years...

That list is just based on who orders the most stuff off Amazon!

Could (and WOULD?) a guy from Tennessee pace you on long tempo and then prepare an ice bath and then take you up to the top of a really scary mountain peak and have a refreshing liter of diet dew ready to be shared? I think not!!!

That's true love, not just the phony crap guys will do to get with as many women as possible. Not that I'd know.

From Andrea on Tue, Feb 14, 2012 at 13:09:26 from 72.37.171.52

1) you have never paced me on a long tempo

2) you have never prepared an ice bath for me

3) you HAVE taken me to the top of A LOT of really scary mountains where I thought I might die

4) you grumble every time I drink any of your precious Dew

......

BUT I did get a really cute stuffed animal and 2 bags of M&Ms for V-Day, which is exactly what I wanted! I just wish I had the candy here at work with me :o)

I think I better move to Knoxville. ha ha and how come I didn't notice your accent when I met you? You are the first person from TN I've met that doesn't have an accent.

Awww, that was so sweet of Jake.

So you guys took the early flight AND made it to work today? Wow.
