I'm so grateful that Jody called yesterday and told me about the indoor track at the Olympic Oval.  I called my running partner, Jodi, and we decided to give it a try.  It was sooooo nice!  It felt good to run without being bundled in layers of clothes, and even better its was great not to be on the treadmill!!  We had a good time and felt like we were keeping a very comfortable pace - talked the entire time.  It was fun to see Jody and Paula there too.  They are much faster than us, but it was fun to chat for a minute when they would pass us.  My mileage is a guess based on the start and finish times.  I think we will definitely revisit the indoor track - Jody thanks for the heads up!

I bet that was nice to not freeze but not being running on the treadmill. I am glad you have that option. Have a good day!

Oh, I'm jealous that sounds fun! It's sooo cold this morning and how you do it day after day on the treadmill, I'm glad you were able to mix it up!!!

It was great to see you out getting it done also. You took off before I noticed. It was nice to be out of the cold.

Andee, the track at the oval is 442 meters per lap on the inside lane per the dark horse, Steve Ashman on the blog. I tried it the first time two weeks ago and it was great.

That sounds so nice! I havent ever run on a "track" before- unless you count the gravel pit at my Junior High School...anyway, nice job.
