AM- 20 easy

PM- 10 warm with 600 at goal 800 pace with a 300, 200, & 100 (except I didn't do the 100 because of handoffs for the 4x100) I wanted 1:45 but I got 1:51 which I'm gonna blame a couple seconds on my crappy start but still not what I wanted. I know I can get that time though if I get myself mentally ready. Really really hoping that I can qualify for state because this is my last chance. Just gonna leave it all out there. At region in running the 800 medley, 4x100, 4x400, & 800.

Also ps my sister has hilarious snapchats. Everyone add her jp.95penguins

My only race was the medley 800. I started out way too fast with like a 31 then kinda tried to hold pace but didn't do it very good. We got 5th but that is okay because we are already qualified in it!

No morning run cause I'm a dumb...

PM- REGION. I had the 4x100, 800, & 4x400. I warmed up for the 4x100 went over to the starting line then ran to the 200 mark to start. I was so nervous... But not to worry! After the first leg Amber & Lexi accidentally dropped the baton so good news I did not have to run! Then I just waited for the 800 & ran around a lot in between. It was a good time. When the 800 came I had a whole plan in my head & knew all my splits that would get me to state qualifying. They shot the gun & I was just focusing on the first 200. I hit that one a little slow at 35 which surprised me cause I expected everyone to start out really fast. When we hit the 400 mark we were at 1:12 which is 3 seconds slow & I knew then that time was no longer an option & I would have to get top 4. I started really trying to push it & jacey came up with me at that point & we pushed together. I let go of her at the 100 but I knew I had to keep pushing or else they were gonna pass me so I just gave it all I had & barely beat the girl for 4th place. STATE QUALIFIED. I was almost crying. Seriously the best feeling. Then we had the 4x400 & there was lightning so they were hurrying everything & we got 3rd in that so another state qualifying thing! I'm seriously the pumpedest person for state!!! (Also I found out today in running the medley at state.)

PM- we had 45 minutes with a couple fartleks in them so we did Neon Spider. It was so cool & scary & hilarious. Jacey screamed her head off the entire time. Good good times.

Easy 30ish run with jess. We went over to the little league ball fields & did a barefoot run in the outfield of the softball field. It was a good quality run.
