Second long run down the Burr Trail. It's a nice place for me to extend my distance because it's paved but still beautiful, and challenging (downhill out, uphill back!). My initial goal was to run to the cattle guard and back-- abt 7.8 miles round trip-- since that's the longest I've done in a while. Ended up going a bit further and I think ended up between 9.5 and 10 miles round trip. I had never run so far except when I did my half marathon in Knoxville a few years ago, so to just be able to pound that out with minimal stress felt awesome. I'm starting to reap the benefits of long-term running.
After the run, met the parents of a dude I've been seeing for the first time. Way harder than running 10 miles. I think I should stick to what I'm good at :x
