Nice and easy miles.  Foot is feeling lots better.  Came down with bronchitis last Saturday and that put the nail in my half marathon coffin.  My resting heart rate has been in the 60s this week when it's normally in the low to mid 40s.  Will pick a couple 1/2s to do in the fall and put together a plan.

Sorry about the bronchitis. At least you don't have the stress of deciding whether or not to do the half. It's amazing how much being sick will bring your HR up.

Awesome to hear about the foot, too! Hopefully you kicked that problem.

ACorn,

Hi. Okay then. That answers my question. No Half Marathon this month! Flatlander once mentioned the "running gods" to me. Guess they are not wanting you to get this half done either. Sheeesh. Foot feels great...wap...bronchitis.

Anyway, hoping you get back to 100 percent really soon.

Say Hi to Mom and Jing for me.

Talk soon.

I think you should pick a full marathon in the fall...namely the Big Cottonwood one and run it with me!
