A couple of wins in small local races. 

I have always been an active person and need to do something physical everyday or I don't feel right. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Mile: 4:40

5k: 16 min (track or honest course)

10k: 33 min

1/2 Marathon: 1:13

Steadily increase my mileage to 60-70 miles a week.

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Eventually run a marathon.

Run for health and sanity.

I work in commercial real estate. 

I enjoy golf, video games and have recently started learning chess.

New Years running goals:

-Run in three circuit races.

-Get my sub 16 5k on a fair course. 

-2600 total miles

-Get to 150 pounds

-Stretch for 15 minutes every night

Hi. I hate stretching! Probably should take the time to do that...but I hate stretching! I think I remember you saying you were six feet...not sure what you weigh but you look solid from the pic. Good Luck with your goals. Looking forward to reading about your progress.

Thanks PRE. I am a little over six feet tall. I used to lift weights lots but now the upper body muscle is counterproductive. I'm definitely not fat just too bulky for a distance runner.

Great goals! Your weight goal caught my eye, especially in relation to your height. I'm 6'3 and would like to drop down towards 160 (currently 170)? Obviously eating right'll be a key part, but when I cut my calories down, my legs pay for it on the recovery end.

Long story short, how do you plan to get down in weight?

Looks like some good and obtainable goals. It was so chilly out there this morning. We need to try some track 5Ks in the spring.
