Personal:

I'm married to Nan Kennard and she kicks my butt at running.  She has beat me handily in every race we have done together except for a downhill mile we did once.  She is my running inspiration.  I'd like to run a marathon with her someday and actually keep up.

p90x for 1:15 - Arms, Shoulders, Core - Felt great.   My core is pathetic.  That is my main focus for the next couple months.

No running today, my left heel is still a bit sore, getting a little better each day though.

Let me know how the P90x works for you. My wife just borrowed the DVD's and she is going to start it soon. I was thinking about doing it with her, but I'm not sure yet if I want to.

Make sure you take before and after pics to post on the blog. Ha.

I am loving the p90x so far. I can't say that I recommend it or not yet since I'm just starting, but I can say that I now know that I am going to have a stronger core and overall strength, because its a program that's super easy to follow and get into.

For some reason, up until now, I could never get into any lifting/core work consistently. I just never felt that much benefit from it and I never felt like I had the ability to do it consistently enough. The p90X deal is making it easy for me and in addition, I think the way it works so many different parts of the body is pretty great.

If I do it, it would only be to supliment what I am already doing. It is always good to mix things up some, plus I could help motivate my wife.

Keep me posted.
