Find balance. Run with my girls. Break 15 in the 5k.
Personal:
Born in 1973 in Southern California.
Ran in high school for Arcadia. They have a famous cross-country team now. In my day, we were famous for dodging our coach during runs.
Over the next 15 years I ran very little, but life was awesome. I lived mostly in Northern California, where I met my wife. We moved back to her native state of Florida in 2005, where I gradually started running more seriously.

Pain and swelling seems improved this morning. I finally started icing yesterday, which probably helped. I'll take a least one more day off.

Sorry to hear about the injury - hopeful that the reduced swelling is showing that its on the mend.

I do appreciate having an aleve (naproxen) or two, or a general anti-inflammatory in these situations. It helped a lot for me in January despite what I've read about the contrary belief to it negatively affecting the healing process.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. It has been getting better - just very slowly.
Mentally I just checked out of running this week, which kept me sane, and I actually got some work done.
