You know, I don't know if it's considered a "fast" course but I don't think it's too difficult, but the Ft Worth Cowtown Marathon is a great one to run. It's in February and I've enjoyed it both years I ran it.

I'm guessing you started looking for your race with this list: http://www.marathonguide.com/races/bostonmarathonqualifyingraces.cfm

Not much in spring or Races near KC, but it's a start.

There's also this:

http://www.runnersworld.com/races/where-run-fast?page=4.cfm

I also check this website out every now and then:

http://www.findmymarathon.com/calendar.php

The conversion tool is pretty cool (I'm not sure how accurate it is, though). If you put in your time at SD Rock n roll, and pick 3 other races, it will predict your time at those races, based on avg. temps, downhilly-ness, etc. It's interesting, anyway. Good luck, Yasir!

Sorry, I can't make that first link work. My comment keeps having the " .cfm " edited off of the end of the website.

I have had lots of friends run the NAPA Valley marathon - point to point, pretty fast, not too crowded, beautiful course, and usually good weather. It does require air travel though. http://www.napavalleymarathon.org/
