Weather - 68 degrees, cloudy. A nice cool day with a bit of rain. Just an easy 3 miles. I ended up at the track for no good reason and ran a medium-hard mile. While running the 4 laps around the track I made a spontaneous adjustment to my form. My lower legs were kicking higher than normal, I could feel the calf muscles pushing against my hamstring. I am not sure if a high kick is efficient at a normal pace, but it seems to help when I am trying to gain speed. When I returned home I watched some racing videos on youtube, and saw that most of the elite runners had a high lower leg kick. #230 z.m. - 143
