After working about 26 hours in two days for our system conversion I didn't want to get up this morning. But my legs felt real fresh, because I took yesterday off. I decided to mix in some marathon pace mile in my run, or lower than marathon pace miles: 6:13, 6:13, 6:02, 6:12 and 6:22. I only did 8.6 miles today because I needed to get to work earlier. I felt really good, no soreness after my 20 miler on Saturday. Totals: 8.6 miles at a 6:36 pace in 57 minutes. I'm shooting for June 9th to run the Teton Marathon, so this week I'll probably hit around 80 miles .
I'll do yasso 800s'm tomorrow and maybe mix a couple tempo miles after afterward. Wednesday: an easy run: I'll probably run a course that has a lot of up and down hills. Thursday: Tempo run (not sure yet how many miles) Friday: Easy run (at least 10 miles) Saturday: 18 miles and mix in some marathon pace miles. I'm hoping to do this run on the Pocatello Marathon course.
