Today I did a rehearsal run kind of simulating Saturday's race, by wearing what I plan on wearing and running three MP pace miles (6:14, 624, 6:16) they felt easy. I also drove out on the actual course to do this training today, because I wanted to get the course in my mind one last time. I started at mile 21 and ran to mile 19 as a warm-up and then turned around and started the MP miles. What was nice, in the second MP mile I was able to run up the big hill (not really that big it probably lasts 800m's), and I felt really good. Time to carb load: honey, pasta, Oatmeal, rice, Potatoes, bagels is all on the menu for the next few days.
