Ran 12:05 miles at a 6:46 pace in 1:21. I wanted to run on a totally flat route for this run to experience what I will be running on in California. I ran just a comfortable relaxed run. I picked it up a bit the last three miles (6:20, 6:16, 5:55).

Kory, the distances you run and the fast paces that you run still amaze me. You are a week away from San Jose and it sure looks like you are ready. Take care of yourself. Paul

Thanks for your kind words and I appreciate all your help with the course information. Your a great friend. I will try to do the best I can. I don't know what my strategy will be yet.

Things are looking good for you also. I am focusing on slowly building towards the winter series again. Focused more on training for the 5 and 10k but with a gradual approach towards the mileage. I want to have fun running the shorter distances for now. Good Luck with CIM. Let me know if you ever get into Salt Lake one of these days.

Is it CIM that you are running?

It's exactly the Silicon Valley Marathon in San Jose. I'm lucky because I'll be there for work, and my conference training ends on Saturday. I decided to stay the extra day to run the Marathon on Sunday.

When I come to Salt Lake I'll look you up and take you out for lunch/dinner, or something. I'm planning on running the Salt Lake marathon next April and Ogden after that. I'm also going to focus on running a 5K turkey trot race in Idaho Falls on Thanksgiving. I kind of miss running the smaller races.
