| 9.25 Miles in 67:30 (7:18/mile) on a cold and windy afternoon in Little Rock; slightly shortened my favorite 9.5 Mile Loop that starts on Evergreen to Lookout (where I pick-up the LR Marathon Course Miles 16-21), linking up with the Arkansas River Trail in Riverdale, brutal climb up Overlook, and through the hills of Camack Village back home. 10.25 Total Miles including one-mile commute. | 7.25 Miles in 47:22 on TM that is stuck on a 3.0 decline. No excuse not to run descent splits when running "downhill", and the end result was a solid, efficient workout. Splits were as follows: 6:58, 6:53, 6:44, 6:35, 6:22, 6:11, and 6:00 (1.25 Miles). 9.25 Total Miles including two miles of commuting. Wesley |

| AM: Awake anyway so out the door at 3:30 am for 8 easy, recovery miles after my highest mileage week in over a month; 70 minutes through midtown and hillcrest neighborhoods on an overcast morning with rain in the forecast. PM: Had a few minutes before my kids' soccer games at Pinnacle Mountain State Park, so I decided to run the Base Trail, which is a single track, rocky three-mile loop around the base of the mountain. Well, cruising along enjoying the afternoon, I looked up from the trail for a split second, tripped over a rock, and ate it. Hard. Banged up knees, busted Garmin, and very sore wrist. The only silver lining was that I was able to shake it off and hobble back to the soccer fields for the 3 pm start of my daughter's game. Total: 11.25 Miles. Wesley |
