| 24 miles in 3:46 (2,079ft total ascent) on rolling gravel roads adjacent to my parents' land. I love running gravel, but I loathe carrying stuff, so I ended up losing 8+ pounds during this run.
After some farm chores and a long shower, I feel pretty descent...good effort with only two bottles of water and one package of scratch chews.

| 5 miles walking and jogging around XC meet this morning, lunch with Max after, and then 11 miles in 1:24:45, with miles 3-10 at 7:16/mile. It wasn't a bad effort, but my goal was closer to marathon pace (6:40). Just didn't have any energy after less than 6 hours sleep and a long week...not completely locked in mentally either.
