| 6 miles or so on a hot afternoon at Lake Catherine State Park, where I linked up the Panther Mt. and Dam Mt. trails for a great workout in just over an hour.

| 13-mile out-and-back on FSR 132 in the Ouachita National Forest on a mild day in the lower 90s with the heat index exactly 100. Only 20 oz of water but no issues other than feeling my age (or more likely my training from 2013 through 2017). I held it together with no walking in the hills and enjoyed the 2 hours of solitude, as I did not encounter a soul.
