Have been running since Fall 2008. Running started out as an exercise for weight loss and quickly turned into an addiction. Lost 50lbs in 2009. Today I am at a ideal weight.
So far my personal best for a 5K race is 29:59. 25K trail run 3 hr 46 min Marathon 6:05:37.45
Short-Term Running Goals: • Run a 25K trail run in 3 hr and 30 min or less • Improve my 5K race time, my goal is 20min • Run a marathon under 5 hours.
• Increase my weekly mileage • Run on the weekends
Long-Term Running Goals: Ironman Triathlon
Personal: I'm a production artist.
My hobbies are poetry, art, computers, running and biking.

| The ball of my right foot hurt today and felt a little swollen so I didn't run today, instead I biked 15 miles on my trainer while I watched the Biggest Loser and then afterwords I did my Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred workout. Ate good today, drank my water and remembered to take my multivitamin. Feel like I'm on a roll. Have been tracking what I eat on livestrong.com using MyPlate, using MyPlate has really helped me see what areas of my diet I need to improve, looking over my totals I have discovered there is too much sodium in my diet. Had my bike trainer on more resistance than usual, first 10 min was intense but I feel that my body adapted. Felt that I did better during my 30 Day Shred workout all except for the push up part, I can't do very many push ups before collapsing onto the floor but that will change. |

Foot felt better today so I ran five miles on the treadmill while watching The Spirit of a Marathon. Thank goodness for treadmills. Have been snowed in since yesterday afternoon, would have gone nuts by now without a run. Seven and half weeks until I run my first half marathon race and twelve and half weeks until I run a full marathon. I know I can do the half marathon. I have completed a 25K trail race so there is no doubt in my mind that I can complete a half marathon, but the marathon will be a challenge and I have a little doubt but feel the need to find out. Crazy to think that last February I was training for my first 5K and was wondering if I could run that third mile because I had never ran more than two miles. By October I had ran a 25K and now I see no challenge in running a half marathon. Have gone from uncernity about 3.1 miles, positive about 13.1 miles, to uncertainty about 26.2 miles in about a years time.

| Ran 7 miles on the treadmill while I watched RED, that movie is hilarious. Feel like I am behind since I didn't get to run this weekend. Ready for Spring, I want to run outside. |

| Is it Spring yet? Ran 4 miles on the treadmill. Really picked up the speed tonight, that made it more fun. Held a 10min pace for awhile, that is fast for little me.

| Finally almost feeling normal again after being sick for a week and a half. Was planing to just run three miles but three miles was such a blast and felt great so I ran another two miles. Glad to being exercising again. Drives me nuts not being able to exercise, afraid I'll get fat again. |
