Last saturday I was signed up for the Ogden Marathon. After much thought, I came to the sad conclusion that it would be better for my body if I did not run that race. I was able to get out and run today though.

I ran up the mueller park trail to Elephant Rock. The trail was great, nice and dry the whole way. There were a lot of people out on the trail today, several bikers, hikers, dogs, a few others runners, and a snake. I made it up in 42 min and down in 27 min.

I love that trail. Glad you had a good run. I ended up skipping Ogden too. What is your next race?

I am running a 5K wife my wife on Monday, but that is just for fun. The next race that I am signed up for is the Wasatch Steeplechase. Hopefully y knees will be strong enough by the time is comes around.

I hope that you are good enough health to run the steeplechase. It will be fun to have you there, at least for the 5 or so minutes before you take off and leave me in the dust. Ha. It would be fun to run that together.

Jun - I won't be leaving you in the dust. I hope to just maintain a slow steady pace for the race. Even if we run together on the way up, you'll blow me away on the downhill.
