Fresh snow. I started out my run today with an 8.5 mile warmup. It snowed about an inch or two last night. I went up the Mueller Park Trail to Elephant Rock. The trail was great for the first 2.5 miles. The last mile or so up to the rock had not been traveled recently and the snow was 6 to 8 inches deep. I ran the whole way up, although some of the running was slow. At the top I at some frozen shot bloks. The taste pretty good frozen. The downhill was fun. I really enjoy trail running in the Winter. After running the trail, I did a 3 mile cool down back to my house. The last few miles were tough. Running on the road is so boring after running a mountain trail.

Wow. I'm extremely jealous of your run today. Way to get out and go long. That is really fantastic. Um, long run together this coming Saturday? We could and should go early. I would drive to Bountiful.
