Favorite Course: Mid-Mountain Marathon, Park City, Utah
Easy run early this morning. I was going to throw in some fast miles, but my knees said, 'not today', so I just took it easy. Avg pace: 9:39

Glad you didn't get that last 0.01 mile in.

Oh, my knees said the same thing! I think the 50 requires alot more recovery time than I planned on.

Did you run on the road or on the trails? I bet it would be a good week for trail running? Wish I had the abilities to get up there.

Burt - I hadn't noticed that. That would be a strange number to end on.
Leslie - I haven't had any major pains since the 50, just minor ones that seem to linger.
Jun - It was roads today. I was heading towards a trail better never made it. I am hoping to run Mueller Park up to Rudy's Flat this weekend if I can find someone to do it with me. My wife doesn't want me to do it alone.

I would go with you if i can get my knee to settle down. I will be gone thurs and fri, but will be home late friday night. we have a wedding on saturday and have to leave about 9:30am. Not sure what time you wanted to go.

Jun - Running early is fine with me. The run usually takes me a little over two hours. If started before 7 a.m. we would need to use headlamps. But if your knee is not 100%, I don't want you to run that trail. If you land on a rock or a root wrong with a weak knee, you could really do some damage.

Yeah, I hear you there. Maybe I should just lay low for a while. Laying low for me is like torture though. It makes me want to scream.

It is for sure trail running weather...sad to hear your knees were not cooperating. I will run that trail with you when I am all healed up...it sound great. Trials are so nice!
