Busy day. I wasn't able to get out for a run until 6 p.m. I ran up the Parrish Creek all the way to Skyline drive. This trail is an uphill grind. Some of it I was able to run, but there were section that I had to walk. About four miles up the trail I found that some adventurous bikers had built a series of jumps. One of which looked very dangerous. No bikers were out today. though. I made it up to Skyline Drive in 1 hr 30 min. I wanted to continue on to Bountiful Peak, but I didn't have enough time. I came back down in 50 min. This trail has a lot of swicthbacks that make it really fun to run down.

Must have been pretty hot out there at that time of day! Sounds like alot of vertical for the miles. Happy 4th

The temp wasn't too bad. I was in and out of forested areas. The vert was just under 4000 ft of climbing. The same again going down.

OK, what's that road/trail to the right on the other ridge and what is the trail going across the top of the pic? We need to run both of those, like pronto. Thanks for going this morning.

What you can see at the top is Skyline drive. There is a trail that you can't see in the picture that sort of goes along it. On the right is also Skyline Drive. There is a trail that goes up the ridge just to the right of Skyline drive called the Buckland Ridge Trail. It runs into the Tuttle Loop trail. All of these are great to run on. So many trails...so little time.
