I ran with the Dirt Tours with the Front run club tonight. The run started at Red Butte canyon. I got there early and did a mile warm up before the run.

Nate the organizer of the group was the only other person to show up. We ran North from Red Butte Canyon along the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. Then we went up Dry Creek. From there we ran along the foothills over the the Pipeline intersection. Then we turned around and went back the way we came. It was a nice night for a run, the summer weather is great.

Nice. Wish I could have been there. Enoch and I should be there next week.

That's some good mileage. Maybe they should call it Spankin's Canyon.

What are the Dirt Tours and what is the Front Run club?

Maurine - Dirt Tours with the Front is a trail running group that is put on by The Front Climbing Gym. They run a trail run one evening each week. The location is different each week. See http://www.frontslc.com/trailrunners/index.php

It is free for anyone to come and run with them. I ran with the group all last summer, it was a lot of fun and I got to run on a bunch of new trails that I had never been on before. You should come check it out.

Oh sweet! That sounds great. Remind me if I forget. I love trails and want to find out new ones.
