5 easy miles.  I feel like that's all I'm doing right now and I'm okay with it.  I don't really have anything on the horizon, just working out, really.  I tried to work on keeping my shoulders down and back and I really tried to breathe out of my nose, but the nose thing was impossible.  So I just made sure to pay attention to my form.

I'm still sore, but I think part of it is just getting used to the position of grading (hunched hopelessly over a desk, feverishly reading paper after paper).  Plus I'm stressed right now with a bunch of papers that I have to get back today and I'm not done with.

5 easy miles sounds like a good plan.

I breathe through my mouth when I run. I don't know how you could run breathing just through your nose.

Me either. That's just totally crazy if anyone can do that. So I'm settling for just making sure that my shoulders aren't stooped and my neck is all in line.

When I was in bootcamp many moons ago the RDC told me to breath through my mouth...she said even she couldn't get enough air through her nose. (I remember her being a runner) I was definately not a runner at a time so I heeded her advice and never looked back!

I hope you don't have a pinched nerve!

Aww school days...aren't they fun?? I"m nervous about back issues when I'm student teaching in Jan...I will be with 2nd graders...it will be hard not to croach.

Breathing through your nose while running? Huh? No way man gotta have the mouth open to suck in that air...hope your shoulder is ok!

It's okay--just gotta strengthen my back muscles, but have to wait on lifting until everything's feeling better. No problems. I'm still running, but just paying more attention to my form.
