I wanted to run outside but it was dark before my hubby got home from work.

I hurried to get 3 miles in before the ab core class.  I did my 3 miles in 24 minutes, but all at different paces ranging from 8:34 to 7:03.  Then I didn't even have time to catch my breath before I went to the class.  It was good but exhausting.

It was 40 and it's supposed to be 40 Friday.  I was all excited, thinking I'd run outside to the gym Saturday for yoga, then run home.  But the news informed me that the high is 11 Saturday.  I'll probably run on the treadmill again instead. I'm hoping in a few more weeks it'll be light enough to run outside when my husband gets home.  I don't want to go more than 4 miles at a time on the treadmill.

I don't like long runs on the treadmill either.

Here's hoping for some warmer temperatures and sunlight for you.

What kind of stuff do you do in the ab core class? I'm starting one next week.

You know, the class is not exactly what I expected. We do the requisite ab exercises in every possible form, but we do a lot of squats (a lot of squats) and lots of yoga moves too (the girl that instructs this class also instructs the yoga class I go to sometimes).

But even though it's different from what I expected, I still feel pretty accomplished when I'm done! The thing that I would help my running most would be more core strength (well, that and more running) and I've definitely felt a difference in that area as of late.
